Fife Lake is an 800 acre, sandy bottom, spring-fed lake, ideal for fishing, swimming, and boating. Our cottages are located across the street from a large park with tennis, basketball, baseball, skateboard, and playground facilities. It is only a short stroll to historic downtown Fife Lake with several stores, restaurants and bars. Be sure to stop by the dairy bar for a tasty mid-afternoon snack or late night treat!
Fife Lake is conveniently located 25 miles southeast of Traverse City, just off of US-131. Possible day trips include climbing the beautiful Sleeping Bear Dunes, biking around Mackinac Island, and following the wine trail on Old Mission Peninsula. On a rainy day, drive into Traverse City or one of the neighboring towns to enjoy a movie or some shopping.
There are many activities to keep you busy during your stay but remember to bring a book and set aside time to relax and watch the sunset from our private dock!
